In this paper, we present a stochastic inventory model for monoclonal antibody maintenance and production during a secondary immune response. This involves a new concept of “cost” factors to represent associated biochemical energy constraints in vivo. Analysis and illustrative results for predictive and explanatory applications are also presented and future directions of research indicated.
